Soreness would be one sign of overdoing it, but it really depends on what method you're using what the symptoms of overdoing would be.....
Say if you were using an extender, just follow the directions and you're fine. For example, fastsize recommends that you take it light the first week, and tells you step by step how to gradually increase the stretch safely, etc... If you're doing exercises you found online, I recommend stopping for a few days if you experience soreness. |

Taking it light can be interpreted in so many different ways, if they mention a specific amount of time then it would be easy to understand. I've never heard of anyone overdoing it recieveing permenant damage either . . .
